Why links are still the #1 ranking factor
Google was built on a premise: if a website receives links from other relevant sites, that site deserves to rank higher. That is the concept of PageRank, and although the algorithm has evolved enormously, the essence has not changed. Links remain the most determinant external factor in organic rankings.
But not all links are equal. Google evaluates the linking domain authority, the topical relevance between the linking and receiving sites, the anchor text context, IP and subnet diversity, and dozens of additional signals. A contextual link from a relevant outlet with real traffic carries more weight than a hundred links from generic directories.
Quality always beats quantity. And that is exactly what defines our methodology: every link we acquire passes a quality filter that most agencies do not even know exists.

Why we do not use DR/DA as our primary metric
Metrics like Domain Rating (Ahrefs) or Domain Authority (Moz) are approximations based on limited data. They are useful as a reference but insufficient for making link investment decisions. A domain with DR 60 may have inflated traffic, irrelevant content or a toxic backlink profile.
Our model simultaneously evaluates dozens of proprietary KPIs that these tools do not combine. The result: a single score (0-100) that reflects the real value of a link for your project far more accurately. It is the difference between buying blind and buying with intelligence.
What our scoring actually analyses
Looking at the domain alone is not enough. Our system drills down to the category and article level to calculate the real authority a link will transfer to your project:
Category relevance. We analyse whether the article hosting your link is published in a category topically relevant to your business. A link from a generic category does not carry the same weight as one from a category specific to your industry.
Category internal linking. We evaluate the internal link structure of that category: how many articles it has, how they interlink, and what crawl depth it achieves. A category with strong internal linking distributes more authority to each of its articles.
Inherited structural authority. We calculate how much authority the specific article inherits from the site architecture: from the homepage, through parent categories, down to the article linking to you. Each depth level dilutes authority, and we quantify it.
Inbound links. We measure how many external links both the domain and the specific category where your link will be published receive. Publishing in a category that receives hundreds of quality backlinks is not the same as publishing in a section nobody links to.
Outbound links. We count how many links leave the domain and category to other sites. The more outbound links a page has, the more the authority each one transmits is diluted. An article with 3 external links does not pass the same authority as one with 30.
Approximate real link authority. With all this data, our model calculates the approximate real authority that specific link will transfer to your domain. It is not a generic site metric: it is a precise estimate of the specific value of that link, in that category, in that article, for your project.
